About Us

Drawing upon our love for both classical and bachata music, we present - Bachata Symphony. Looking for a new spin on your favorite bachata classics to spice up your playlist? Excited to expand your musical horizons? Craving live music at your local bachata social with a new and exciting twist? Look no further; we’ve got you covered!

At Bachata Symphony, we aim to bring classical and bachata music together in a new and creative way that preserves and respects the essence of our favorite bachata classics, but reimagines their sound and style by incorporating new (to bachata at least) and unexpected musical elements.

We recruit pre-professional musicians from local universities and colleges, giving them hands-on performance experience to support their future careers by providing exposure to the performing environment. By showcasing their abilities in a unique way, we aim to help set their future studies and careers in motion. It’s our dream to share our passion for music and creativity with the dance community, enriching it in a fun new way and enhancing the community’s enjoyment.

By bringing our audience a live performance setting, we’re also striving to incorporate the concert experience to elevate your night of bachata social dancing. Whether you’re showing your support on the dancefloor, cheering on your local students, or relaxing to take in the show, we’ll be music to your ears!
